La Canchanchara in Bad Kissingen

We stayed at La Canchanchara with our caravan team because of the corona. The two owners are super friendly, personable and hard-working. The location itself is very, very beautiful, inside and out. The food was fresh and tasty, the non-alcoholic cocktail really good. The coffee at the end was also great in terms of taste. Thumbs up, we can only recommend this restaurant and will be happy to come back with our caravan as long as Corona does not allow anything else, as well as later, when the restaurants are allowed to open normally again. THANK YOU FOR THE NICE HOURS!

We were here the day before Corona Lockdown and wanted to enjoy the evening again. We were also lucky that we got a place. The waitresses were very nice and fulfilled our every wish for cocktails. - Even cocktails that weren't on the menu. We had a nice evening and would like to come back.

The food was ok, as was the service. But no card payment possible! When asked whether this was appropriate in times of Corona (when everyone is promoting paying by card) and in 2020 at all, I was told that there was a fear that the employees would not get enough tips when paying by card. I was said goodbye with “Thanks for the instruction”! Unprofessional and unwise. So: never again!

Well, the food is really very good. Would give 5 stars for the food, but absolutely incompetent and unfriendly staff prevent a better rating here and a reasonable tip on site in my opinion. The fact that our group of 4 people was transferred to another group during the meal, completely blows the bird here .....

A very nice restaurant, which is an absolute highlight, especially in summer. The dishes are very tasty and the cocktails taste very good and are of high quality. The service staff are very friendly and courteous! However, I have to subtract one star from my previous 5-star rating, because the boss, unlike her employees, really has some catching up to do in terms of customer friendliness during the last visit.

Service friendly but inauthentic. We didn't feel well after dinner. We suspect the guacamole.

Live music while we were there. Lady could sing beautifully. Food was delicious, service correct and friendly. Prices are not too bad. Beautiful building!

although we had a reservation for two hours, we were forced to leave a table by the owner after 1.5 hour. It would not be generally a problem, but the approach of the owner was very rude, without appologizing... It is a pity because the food is not bad! Anyway, we will never visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, the frozen margarita had little in common with a good margarita in terms of taste and consistency. The salt rim was also missing. The chili was very bland. Unfortunately there was only bread and tortilla chips, although there was no liquid in the chilli to do anything with these side dishes. !!! no card payment possible !!!

Very great restaurant, very chic atmosphere, nice service and a great arrangement of the dishes. The portions are very large and well worth the price. There are also many nice vegetarian options on the menu.

The service was very friendly, great cocktails only the landlady should take to heart that not only her guests should wear a mask but also themselves.
